While my colleague Euna Lee and I were held captive in North Korea, Kevin jumped into action using his social networking expertise to spread the word about our situation. Kevin created the video "A Million Miles," which touched the hearts of many via YouTube and other outlets--I still tear up watching it today. Kevin worked on our behalf out of the goodness of his heart. I did not know him before my captivity, but now consider him a friend and guardian angel.
